Eccentric Contraction Focusing on The Negative Movement

Many people in the gym focus on the concentric part of a movement during an exercise. The concentric part also known as the positive is where you lift the weight up. However we often neglect the eccentric phase of an exercise or the negative part of the movement bring it back down. Some studies say the negative part causes the most muscle growth others disagree. I share my own personal experience with this topic.
